Situated in St Maurice de Tavernole, Jonzac, Charente Maritime. 6 minutes to Jonzac, 25 minutes to Cognac, 40 minutes to coast, 1 hour to Bordeaux. Located in amongst Cognac country, a beautiful setting where the grape vines are grown to supply grapes for the Cognac and the local speciality, Pineau. Our local producer is only some 5 minutes walk away

The property has a shower room with wc and 2 large bedrooms each containing 1 double bed and 1 single bed. One of the bedrooms also has a cot, so the property will sleep 6 plus a baby. Because our grandchild stays, a stair gate is also fitted at the top of the stairs. A French balcony looks out from the 1st floor over the courtyard and gardens.

Downstairs, there is a large lounge which includes a variety of books and DVDs for all the family. There is also British free view TV and CD player. There is also a selection of games and puzzles to keep the children amused. A wood burner which heats the whole house is there to keep the chill off should the need arise! In the kitchen diner there is a table which seats 6 and a fully equipped kitchen including dishwasher, washing machine, gas cooker and steamer. Free Wi-fi internet is also available.

Outside you will have access to the large gardens and orchard. There is a seating area outside if you wish to dine outside. The splash pool is located in the gardens.

Although we are adjoining the property, we keep ourselves to ourselves but we are available should you need us!

Gas and electricity are included.

Try your hand at the popular sport of Hunter Field Target shooting, using quality, high tech air rifles.

This is probably the only HFT Course in France. All equipment supplied, with discounts for gite precedence.

The Air Rifle Range is situated some 100 mtrs from the gite where you can try your shooting skills with the latest high tech air rifles. All equipment is supplied and full tuition is given.
Our guests can enjoy discounted rates for this activity. This is however a very quiet sport so your peace and tranquillity will not be disturbed if you decide not to participate. There is plenty of parking available.
