La Bleziniere Farmhouse + gite ( sleeps 2 - 10) set in unspoilt countryside, 30 miles north of the Loire Valley, with it's chateaux, vineyards, lakes and forests. Perfect for a stress-free, relaxing holiday, and ideal for walking & cycling. Vergonnes is situated between the towns, Chateaubriant & Segre, each have a lively market, cafés, restaurants etc. There are 3 local lakes for swimming, water sports & fishing. Golf course within 20kms. Between Rennes, 45 miles, Nantes, 40 miles & Angers, 40 miles.

La Blézinière is 30 miles north of the Loire; the valley is a patchwork of vineyards. The area is famous for the hundreds of fairy-tale châteaux it offers for the visitor to explore - dozens are open to the public, some opening up their gardens in the summer for concerts and fireworks.
The Loire earns its name, "The Garden of France", from its market gardens that produce lush vegetables in the mild climate. It is also home to the famous white & rosé wines, Sancerre, Muscadet, Cabernet d’Anjou and the sparkling white Vouvray.
A pleasantly balanced and richly diverse region of France, the area surrounding La Blézinière quite simply has it all: rivered landscapes, rural villages, châteaux, succulent cuisine, brilliant wines and an endless labyrinth of quaint country roads.

The Farmhouse faces south, enjoying a sunny front garden with country views. Easy parking within the grounds, garden furniture & barbeque. The rear orchard garden (access from kitchen) with apple, cherry & walnut trees, offers shade for those hot summer days & a safe area for playing.

Through the porch, ideal for taking your morning coffee or early evening apéritif, you enter a comfortable living room with original oak beams & quarry-tiled floor. You have a choice of French TV or a selection of English videos/DVD's (over 100 films), CD/DVD player & radio.
 
Through to the kitchen-diner, microwave, fridge- freezer, coffee-maker, toaster etc.

The bedrooms consist of 1 double, 1 with twin beds, & bedroom area with full-size bunk beds. Cot & high chair available on request. Quilts & English pillows are provided and bed linen hire is available.
Utility room with washing machine, iron & ironing board. Bathroom has bath, shower, toilet and 2 wash basins. There is also a separate toilet.
All rooms are on ground floor level.

6m x 4m plunge pool, in pretty garden setting, shared with gite.
