Set on a farm in a lovely setting in the hills above the village of Fendeille, which is approx 10min from Villefranche-de-Lauragais which has many shops, bars, restaurants, banks, etc, 10 min from the market town Castelnaudary which also has many shops, bars, restaurants, antique stores, and is in fact even bigger than Villefranche. and 40 min from Carcassonne with its wonderful medieval walled city and fifty two towers. The city is surrounded by a large moat with the original very large feature drawbridge by which to enter into a fascinating array of winding cobbled streets and squares where you will find many craft and antique shops to browse around, also bars and restaurants which are very reasonably priced too. Within 35 min you have Toulouse, the 3rd largest city in France, which has an excellent shopping area where you can shop till you drop. Both Toulouse and Carcassonne have international airports, with several flights a day.

The House:
 
Ground floor: Living room with fireplace opens onto a large dining area. The kitchen is well equipped with gas cooker, oven, dishwasher, toaster, kettle, coffee machine, microwave, fridge, freezer. WC.

A front door opens on to a terrace and garden with tables & chairs, bbq, just close to the river "La rigole". The enclosed pool (15 x 6) is just in front of the house next to a large patio with table and chairs.

First floor: 2 bedrooms with double bed (+ single bed), shower-room with washing machine.

Second floor: 1 bedroom with double bed + clic-clac (bed-settee) for 2 persons
