Plenty of activities can be found in the area including, walking, cycling, white water sports, skiing and bird watching, historic Cathar castles and quaint local markets. The wine regions of Languedoc, Corbieres, Minervois & Roussillion are nearby, visit the 'caves' and sample the Blanquette de Limoux. Stunning views and wild beauty make this an area not to be missed.

Local Places of Interest: - On foot or by car the Pays de Sault is a countryside of deep gorges, passes and plateaux, not to be missed are the Gorges de Rebenty and the Gorges de la Frau. The spectacular medieval 'cite' of Carcassonne and the Cathar Castles of Montsegur & Puivert are well worth seeing. Enjoy the local cuisine, river trout or salmon, wild boar & game, delicious wild mushrooms & local goats cheese. Taste the wines of the region in the 'caves'. Visit the local weekly markets or just relax and swim in the lake.

The property has a traditional open plan lounge, with modern furniture, TV, electric heating and a pleasant decor. The dining suite seats 6 and is convenient for serving from the well-equipped kitchen. Gas hob and electric oven, coffee maker and toaster, along with good quality crockery and utensils.
