If you are looking for a truly charming mountain lodge, well run with superb cuisine then look no further, you have found La Forge! The chalet is just 250m from the Les Houches pistes,  Chamonixs' World Cup venue.  Alternatively our excellent minibus service means we will transport you everyday to the various ski areas in the Valley and back, take you for après ski and out to Chamonix town in the evenings after dinner, collecting you at Midnight! Our talented chef and chalet hosts offer a friendly and professional service.

We have recently re-modelled part of the chalet so that each bedroom now enjoys its own ensuite shower/wc or an adjacent facility. In the new bathrooms we have used beautiful Italian limestone tiles. The Forge has bags of character in a French rustic chic style and is enhanced by our collection of ski memorabilia. We've also got every home comfort to make your stay a real pleasure; a sauna, Satellite TV, ADSL, Wireless and SKYPE. 

Our extra's are standard: crisp white bed linen, bathrobes for the sauna, complimentary bath products, fruit bowl and flowers to welcome you, excellent coffee, aperitifs and canapés each evening and our champagne reception on arrival! .

The Forge is on three levels:

Ground Floor: A spacious and comfortable living room with leather sofa and chairs set cosily by the wood burning stove and open-plan to a charming wood panelled dining room. The traditional mountain ambience of a classic Alpine home has been recreated using reclaimed wood and stags antlers! Sauna with shower/wc. Amenities include Satellite TV, DVD, Wireless, SKYPE and a music system. Laundry facilities available.

1^st Floor: Entrance, heated boot room. Galley kitchen, sunny breakfast room with rustic hand-made pine table and benches.

All bedrooms have their own facilities either an ensuite shower/wc or adjacent bathroom/wc. Chalet hairdryers available on request.
Bedroom 1:  twin room with Victorian iron bedsteads and ensuite with shower/wc.
Bedroom 2: double bedroom with carved bed with adjacent bathroom with bath/shower/wc
Bedroom 3:  twin bedroom with adjacent shower/wc

2^nd Floor:
Bedroom 4:  twin or double bedroom with ensuite shower/wc and balcony
Bedroom 5:  twin or double bedroom with ensuite shower/wc and velux window
Bedroom 6:  family bedroom with ensuite shower/wc with double bed and 2 single beds
Bedroom 7:  small double bedroom with adjacent shared bathroom with bath and wc
