This carefully restored farmhouse, surrounded by woods and fields, has a wealth of character, and offers spacious and delightful accommodation, being cosily furnished but also having all modern conveniences.

It is independently set within the chateau grounds, and the location is a perfect launch pad for exploring the wealth of things that this region has to offer visitors of all ages. There are many safe and sandy beaches, the closest being within a short drive of just 9 miles, and the lovely old local towns have a multitude of family friendly and inexpensive restaurants to satisfy all tastes.

Close by, there are many sports and interests to enjoy for the more athletic, with hiking, walking and mountain biking being very popular. Angling is available with a permit at the lakes just 2 kms. from Bodean, and tennis is available in the village. Water sports, including canoeing, sailing, windsurfing and pedalo's can all be enjoyed just a few kms. away, and there are 2 golf courses close by.

There are numerous old and interesting towns scattered through the region, with unspoilt landscapes, chateaux, churches, museums and many other interesting sights in abundance.

The Farmhouse:  is a completely independent dwelling, all on one level, surrounded by woods and fields, and affording completely privacy. It is centrally heated, and makes a good choice for an all year round destination. There is a large lounge with an open log fireplace and dining area, with comfortable seating for 8 people. The kitchen is a lovely, large, family room, also having a dining area, and a hob / oven, fridge / freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, and plenty of utensils and other kitchen implements. The utility room gives on to the terrace, where you will find a BBQ and outside dining area. The (lightly) disabled will find the house on one level where the space offered allows you to move a wheelchair easily, and you can drive the car on the lawn to the edge of the front door.

The bedrooms are spacious, with bedroom one having a double bed with cot, bedroom two, 4 single beds and bedroom three with two single beds, the whole giving very flexible accommodation, and all having fine open views across the countryside.

In the bathroom you will find a bath, separate shower and a wash hand basin, and the WC is separate.

Outside: There is a garden to the front, and a sunny terrace at the back with garden furniture, to enable you to enjoy the peace and tranquillity of this idyllic location.
