The property is a terraced house situated on a private estate on a hill above the medieval town of Cogolin approximately 10-15min walk from the town centre. Whilst some of the properties are used as holiday homes the majority of the houses are occupied by full-time residents. A large swimming pool and a children’s paddling pool are located on site for the exclusive use of the residents. Please note that visitors use the pool at their own risk.

The accommodation comprises: Living room with French windows opening onto the south facing terrace which contains a garden table and chairs and a barbeque. The kitchen has a full size oven, microwave and a large fridge freezer is housed under the stairs. There is also a washing machine in the front conservatory, a downstairs toilet, front garden and private parking in an allocated space. On the first floor there is a double bedroom with large built in wardrobe, and a balcony overlooking the terrace and hills. The second bedroom has a large alcove with drawer unit and space for hanging clothes and two full sized single beds arranged as bunks and suitable for adults. Separate bathroom with bath, shower and washbasin. The property has TV and radio. All you need to provide is linen and towels, however we can provide a linen service at additional cost if required. Also if required, we can arrange for the house to be cleaned on your departure on payment of an additional fee.

Cogolin is situated 12km from St. Tropez with its fabulous harbour front, chic shops, colourful markets and ambiance. The population of Cogolin is around 10,000 and in addition to its many restaurants, hotels and shops the town has an identity away from tourism. It is the centre of the French briar pipe making industry and there are several workshops where one can see the art of pipe making first hand. Other industries include carpet weaving, the manufacture of bamboo furniture, cork work and pottery as well as the manufacture of woodwind reeds which have a world-wide reputation. Cogolin has markets on Wednesdays and Saturdays. From Cogolin it is easy to explore either inland to the unspoilt villages and magnificent and spectacular countryside of Provence, or to the coast with its wide variety of chic beach resorts. The nearest beach is 8km away, the Marines de Cogolin which has car parking, beach restaurants, and with its gently sloping sandy beach, is ideal for children.
