Lozère ; not far from the Gard and the Ardèche.

stairs.
Also the vine covered veranda and the surrounding buildings will remind
you of the rustic past. In "Au Portaou" you will enjoy a micro-climate
resembling the Mediterranean climate. Tranquillity and unspoilt nature.
await you in this green heaven. Numerous calming and romantic spots, as
the one where our spring arises.

The Farmhouse (Le Mas) has been restored in the original Cevennes
style. The rafters and flooring are made of honest chestnut timber with
a soft gleam. In the lounge, stocked with documentation, family games
and magazines, you can make coffee and tea and prepare your outings and
activities at ease. Our rooms have a personal touch, expressed by their
decoration and their name. They have central heating and have an
adjustable children's bed.
Nostalgia: is a large room, with two antique single beds.
The cedar covering the walls prevent flies flying in.
The room also has a large bathroom, equipped with shower, marble wash
stand and private toilet.
The room is mainly decorated in Bordeaux.
La Clèda: has two levels, it is situated in an old "clède" (a
little natural stone house, especially built to dry chestnuts formerly).
La Clèda is equipped with a double bed in the mezzanine. The private
bathroom has a shower, a wash stand and toilet. A true love nest...
Breakfast is served under the vine in nice weather, in less
favourable weather it is served in the dining room.
Patricia will spoil you with various home made jams and bread
from a stone-oven. Delicious honeys, coffee, tea, herbal teas, chocolate
milk and fruit juices complete the feast.
Guest meals:
Patricia's creativity is not finished yet; she surprises her guests
with a large variety of dishes based on products from her own garden:
delicious dishes from the Cevennes, but also specialities on the basis
of less known plants and vegetables. She also uses untreated biologic
fruits, vegetables and flowers from her orchard and garden for the
preparation of liquors and fruit syrups. A vegetarian menu is available
on request.
