Guernavalou is situated in a small hamlet close to the small but quaint village of Plougonver. There is a small village shop and also a bakers for your fresh morning bread and croissants. Close by is a trout farm and small restaurant which serves lovely food. Just a ten minute drive will take you to the picturesque village of Bell-Isle-Enterre which has a bank, creperie and supermarket. On Fridays, there is an open market in Guingamp and also  a large Carrefour hypermarket for all your major shopping. The town of Lannion is just a thirty minute drive, with its' olde worlde charm which is well worth a visit. The beaches of the region are a short drive away and a visit to the Pink Granite coast is worthwhile.

The Cottage: is self contained with duvets and pillows provided, but please bring your own linen and towels. The cottage sleeps 5 people, having two large bedrooms; (1 double and 1 twin) with an extra single bed on the large landing.

Downstairs there is a large lounge, bathroom with WC and shower, newly fitted kitchen with all necessary equipment and there is also electric central heating.

Outside: there is a large garden where you can sit and enjoy a glass of wine savouring the holiday atmosphere, plus there is ample off road parking.

Ferries: (All times are approximate) Roscoff is just over 1 hour, St Malo is just over 2 hours and Caen (Oustreham) is about 4½ hours drive.
Ryanair now fly from Stansted to Brest with car hire available from the airport.
