Spend a peaceful, relaxing holiday in this charming rural house set in a hamlet of just three houses. The property is 3 minutes from a village, which offers a restaurant, shop and church. Nearby are forests, swimming pools, leisure lakes, parks and local markets, all within 30 minutes. Marais Poitevin, Mervent and Vouvent, La Rochelle and Futuroscope are all within 1 hour. The area has an abundance of activities on offer, and there are many interesting towns and places in the region to visit. It is a perfect choice for nature lovers, walking, cycling, and just relaxing. 
Guests should bear in mind that the location is very rural and quiet, and perhaps not the best choice for lively young children.

The Property: is furnished and fitted to a very high standard throughout, truly a home from home. On the ground floor you will find a comfortably furnished living room with plenty of seating and a wood burning stove, perfect for off season holidays. There is a TV/video, films, games, jigsaws and books. The dining room also has wood burning stove, TV and radio, and a large dining table to seat at least 10 people.

The kitchen / diner is fully fitted, with washing machine, dishwasher, microwave and gas cooker, two high standard fridges, iron and ironing board. You will also find a multitude of other useful kitchen appliances, and ample crockery and cutlery.

The family bathroom is also on the ground floor, with corner bath, shower, toilet and wash basin. Shaver / hairdryer point.

The 2 double bedrooms are on the first floor, and both have king-size beds, radio and fans. Also on this floor is a washroom with toilet and vanity wash unit. The bedrooms are very large, and it may be possible to accommodate an extra person by request.

Outside, there is a large garden to the rear of the property, with gazebo, garden furniture and barbecue. The garden also has an abundance of home grown organic produce, and guests are free to make full use of this, and there is a mobile shop, which calls twice weekly, for things that are not available literally on your doorstep.

A very generous complimentary welcome hamper is provided, and this will provide plenty of essential basic immediate provisions for your holiday, including tea, coffee, sugar, toilet rolls, and of course, a bottle of wine!
