A traditional farmhouse located in the hamlet of Bernac, on the Lot et Garonne/Dordogne border, just 7 miles from the picturesque medieval market town of Eymet.  The farmhouse is a fully renovated, comfortably furnished and offers an ideal location to relax in a peaceful rural setting in grounds of over 2 acres.

Eymet is one of several bastides (fortified towns) in the region which figured in the 100 years war. The heart of the town is an enchanting square surrounded by covered arcades where a colourful market is held each Thursday morning and night markets are held there in the summer months. Surrounded by open rolling countryside, ancient châteaux and vineyards, Eymet is only 15 miles south of Bergerac, capital of the Monbazillac and Pecharmant wine growing regions, and a short trip from St. Emillion and the world famous châteaux of Bordeaux.

The area caters for all tastes and activities including, riding, cycling, walking, canoeing, recreational lakes, prehistoric sites and caves etc. Chateau des Vigiers is 15 minutes drive away and has one of the best 18 hole golf courses in the region. Local restaurants offer Perigordian specialities such as foie gras, confit de canard, truffles and walnut desserts in addition to many, tempting normal family menus. Curry lovers will be pleased to know a Indian restaurant has recently opened in the nearby village of Luzan.

The Farmhouse: is beautiful fully renovated, offering 4 bedrooms, comfortably furnished and containing many original features such as oak beams and a traditional fireplace in the kitchen. The living room has 2 sofas and there is television with UK channels, and the kitchen has a large table, which can seat 8 or more, and contains a gas cooker, fridge /freezer, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. There are 2 shower rooms and separate wc’s. Two of the bedrooms have double beds, and two have twin beds. A cot is also available.

The gardens: are peaceful and secluded, in 2 acres of grounds, and there is a private swimming pool with a children's splash pool.
