Situated in the pretty village of Aveze, near the town of Le Vigan, Languedoc Roussillon.  A fully restored 17th century silk weavers village house, with high ceilings and large airy rooms.

Arranged over three floors connected by wooden staircases. The house has two bedrooms (both with en-suite bathrooms), fully fitted kitchen, separate living and dining rooms. There is also a large, sunny roof terrace with spectacular views of the surrounding countryside.

It is the perfect base for exploring this beautiful rural area of France. Great for walking, canoeing, river swims, restaurants, wine buying and markets.

A bakery, a few doors down from the house, is great for croissants and fresh bread, whilst two large supermarkets are only a few minutes drive away. There is a bar and excellent restaurant a short walk from the house. Local markets take place in Gange and Le Vigan every week.

Nimes and Montpellier are the closest large towns with airports; it takes a little over an hour to reach either. Driving from the French Channel ports takes 10 hrs non-stop.
