Situated in the Vallėe d’Abondance of the French Alps; this property is ideal for a family winter skiing holiday or a summer alpine holiday, Chatel is a pretty Swiss style Savoyard village with traditional wooden chalets. In winter it is one of the twelve French/Swiss resorts that form part of the ‘Portes de Soleil’, the worlds biggest ski area, 275 lifts and 450 miles of family friendly skiing.
Bordering onto Switzerland, the summer attractions are numerous, from alpine hiking and mountain biking to fishing, paragliding and rafting, plus lots of children’s activities. Sophisticated Lake Geneva, (e.g. Evian – Montreux) and Mont Blanc, Europe’s tallest mountain, are within easy reach. Chatel is easily accessed by road (Calais - 500 miles) or air (Geneva) 70 miles.

The Apartment:
This new 50 sq. m. chalet apartment, situated at a height of 1300 metres, is in Petit Chatel. The area is quiet,  has 3 bars and 3 shops plus 2 ski hire/sales shops and even boasts 2 boules pitches. The apartment has a comfortable sized living room and kitchen. There are two bedrooms, one with a double bed and the second is twin bedded. The living room has a good quality bed settee, easy chairs and can seat 6 for meals.
Indoor entertainment includes TV/video with over 70 hours of videos, hi-fi and assorted music, games, boules and books and magazines. All the furniture is high quality and selected to maximise the feeling of space. Both the living room and double bedroom lead onto a 27ft sun-facing balcony, furnished and with terrific unrestricted views.

The apartment can comfortably sleep 4/6 people. The modern kitchen is fully fitted with usual kitchen equipment including fridge, microwave and traditional oven. There is a full bathroom with bath/shower plus a separate WC. The apartment, one of four privately owned within the Chalet, has its own garage/ski store.  Available for use are a cot, high chair and extra Z bed. Two minutes to local shops and nearest chair lift. Free bus service both winter and summer.
