This charming village house, sleeps 4-7 (inc baby) is situated in a peaceful circulade style village typical of the region. 7kms only from the bustling market town of Limoux famous for its 3 month festival and Blanquette sparkling wines. Close to Carcassonne & Mirepoix, 2 hrs from the coastal borders with Spain and Andorra through the Pyrenees inland. The wonderful “rose city” of Toulouse is little more than an hour away  to the north as are glorious Med beaches to the South and there is lake and river bathing close by, too. Limoux is just a few minutes drive away and all supermarkets, banks, shops bars and restaurants are there, mainly around the fabulous square where you can while away many an hour. Open air swimming in July and August, canoeing and river bathing. In July and August there is a night market every Tuesday in Limoux which makes a wonderful evening, viewing the stalls and perhaps dining al fresco  in the lively square.

Accommodation: Large open plan living dining kitchen room with comfortable sofas, full size dining table, well equipped kitchen. Satellite TV with  video & stereo system, Bed settee available in lounge. Full family bathroom including corner bath & shower. 1 x family bedroom & double bed with 1 single or cot optional. 1 x twin bedded room, further washroom adjacent to 2nd bedroom.

Naturally shaded terrace & large open sunny patio with garden table chairs & built in BBQ, splash pool available May to September. The bread van arrives daily outside the door for your fresh croissants & bread purchases.
