These recently converted cottages are situated in a beautiful area of Brittany, each cottage has a double bedroom and a twin bedroom, and a shower and wc. There is a spacious lounge / dining area and well equipped modern kitchen with cooker, microwave, fridge and washing machine. Both cottages are double glazed and centrally heated for comfort in the winter months. Outside there are large gardens for children to play safely and each cottage has a patio with garden furniture and BBQ.

Places of Interest: The cottages are a five minute drive from the supermarket in Plumeliau where there are also boulangeries, pharmacies and local bars. St. Nicholas des Eaux is a very pretty village where the river Blavet flows through; here you can fish, hire canoes, pedaloes and cycles, or take a river trip. Alongside the river there is a traffic free cycle path that goes for miles, with some breathtaking scenery and ancient chapels as well as several watering holes.

The beaches in the area are too numerous to mention in detail. Try Kerhillio for endless stretches of sandy beaches. from the eastern coast of the Quiberon, the bay of Plouharnel to Carnac, Trinite and Locmariquer you will find clean beaches and sparkling clear water; the coast is unspoilt and uncommercialised.

The Gulf of Morbihan is said to have as many islands as there are days in the year, the largest being Ille aux Moines, which is traffic free and is superb to discover by bicycle which can be hired at the port. Pontivy was chosen by Napoleon as a garrison town full of charm, with many half timbered and turreted houses, cobbled streets and attractive shops in the old quarter. The 15th century Castle of the Dukes of Rohan with its two remaining towers is well worth a visit. There is also a good variety of restaurants and cafes, and an open air swimming pool.  There are many other interesting places to visit, including Josselin, Vannes, Concarneau and Carnac to name but a few, all of which will give you a fantastic day out.
