The studio is just a short walk of about 500m to the centre of St. Vincent-sur-Jard and about 300m to the lovely sandy beach, with rock pools to explore at low tide. St. Vincent sur Jard is a family seaside resort with shops, restaurants and 11th century church. The museum and house of Georges Clemenceau is on the sea front. This is an ideal base for exploring the numerous historical attractions. Jard-sur-Mer, a 5 minute drive away, is a small seaside resort bustling with activity in the summer months, a variety of shops, supermarket, restaurants, markets, lovely Roman church, beaches and pine forest.
