Winter Activities: The Portes du Soleil is one of the world's largest ski areas centred on Avoriaz and providing cross border skiing in 12 connected villages. Links are maintained throughout the season from Xmas to late April and there are extensive off-piste areas for skiers and boarders. Nursery slopes are easily accessible while more advanced runs range up to the world renowned black run - 'the Wall' Cross country pistes pass the chalet and there is a ski bus to the local nursery slopes. A car is essential to enjoy the full scope of the area.

Summer Activities: The mountains are on the doorstep with hundreds of marked walks and mountain bike routes. Lake Geneva (40 Mins) provides shopping, beaches, thermal baths, and countless summer festivals such as Montreux Jazz. Chalet Arthur has a large garden to relax in and beautiful views of the mountains and forest.
