With spectacular views over the Mayenne, Le Grand Goupille is a fully equipped three-bedroom holiday home, furnished to a very high standard. Close to the historic town of lassey Le Châteaux it is ideally suited for exploring Normandy and the northern Loire. Excellent for those seeking an active holiday or equally a relaxing break.

Although being in the heart of the countryside, the small village of Champeon is a short walk away. There you will find a boulangerie, a village shop, a very good restaurant and large church. Twenty minutes away is the town of lassey which has various super markets, small shops coffee shops and restaurants
Twenty minutes to the south is the large town of Mayenne, and Le Mans is an hours drive away. The historic spa town of Bagnols-de-L'Orne is approximately thirty to forty minutes and has tennis courts, woods for walking and cycling, and many other attractions for an active holiday and excellent restaurants on the water front. Around the countryside you will find plenty of large lakes with beaches on them where you can enjoy swimming and water sports.

Le Grand Goupille offers a large private and secluded garden with BBQ and beautiful views over an apple orchard and the Mayenne. Recently renovated the house has beamed ceilings and wooden floors, night storage heaters and a wood burner in the lounge. The kitchen is equipped with electric cooker fridge / freezer and microwave oven. In the lounge there is a TV with a selection of videos and a CD player.

The cottage has three bedrooms, two of which have double beds (one also with a single bed), the third has bunk beds. There is also a sofa bed in the lounge, and we have found the cottage will comfortably sleep eight.
There is off road parking for three cars.
