Cotignac is everything one would expect in a typical Provencal village; charming shady squares adorned with fountains and narrow streets with old pan tiled cottages. It is well positioned for the Mediterranean coast and Italy, and all of the other popular regions of France, and the village itself and surrounding area offers a variety of shops, restaurants and cafes. There are also two excellent floodlit tennis courts, while further afield at Brignoles, 14 miles away, there is an eighteen hole golf course. Le Lac de St. Croix is a thirty five minute drive where you will find a wide variety of water based activities including swimming, boating, wind sports and fishing. The chateau at Entrecasteaux and the Abbaye de Thoronet make interesting excursions, and are well worth a visit. Marseille and Nice are approximately 1½ hours.

Le Moulin: is a restored 16th century olive mill, situated just minutes away from the heart of the charming, mediaeval village of Cotignac, and comprises a collection of tastefully converted apartments located in beautiful, terraced, private gardens, planted with lavender, mimosa, rosemary and olive trees. There is swimming pool which measures 7m x 10m, with a lovely patio area shaded by fig and mulberry trees, which is shared between the apartments.

The Apartment: primarily a warm and welcoming home, is heated throughout, with a galleried landing, and is on two floors offering an entrance hall with small cloakroom, and an open plan living / dining area, which is approached by way of an open wooden staircase. It has a telephone for incoming calls, and a CD / cassette music system. Attractively and comfortably furnished, the living room retains it's rustic character with handmade terracotta floor tiles and scatter rugs, and a wood burning stove; there is also a dining table with seating for four. The terrace, overlooking the gardens, is reached by French windows leading from the living area, where you will find outdoor furniture and parasol. The kitchen area is well equipped with oven, dishwasher, washing machine, large fridge and a multitude of other appliances.
On the first floor there are two bedrooms, one twin and one double, and a family bathroom with two basins, a bath and a wc.
