La Petite Ferme was originally a longere farmhouse which has been beautifully converted into 2 cottages offering excellent south facing accommodation. Here you can enjoy the wonderfully tranquil setting, which is on a quiet country lane and overlooks it's own grounds of 20 acres and adjacent meadows. The superb rural location is ideal for cycling and it is very easy to make arrangements locally for numerous activities, including canoeing, golf, go-karting and horse riding, or you can enjoy the local lakes for swimming and windsurfing. The village of Avessac is just 8 kms. away, with its' boulangeries, mini-supermarket and bars, and 12 kms. to the west is the town of Redon, where the river Vilaine is crossed by the Nantes-Brest canal. Here you can visit the Monday market or take the TGV to Paris. Also 12 kms away but to the east is Guemene Penfao alongside the River Don; smaller but equally charming with its floral displays and antiquated charm.

Not to be missed is the medieval town of Vannes with its beautiful shops, restaurants and picturesque chateau. Enjoy the beautiful beaches at La Baule and Penestin which are only 30 minutes away. La Gacilly and Rochefort-en-Terre are worth a visit too, both have rustic charm with cobbled streets and numerous craft shops, some with their craftsmen demonstrating their skills on site. Visit the megaliths of Carnac and St. Just, or perhaps explore the German U-boat pens at St. Nazaire, now home to a French submarine and other war-time features. All of these are just 40 minutes away.

The Cottages: Each of the cottages feature exposed beams and stone walls, very typical of the area, and can sleep 8 people in extremely spacious, comfortable accommodation. Both have 3 bedrooms, one double downstairs with adjacent shower room and wc, and two on the first floor, each with 3 single beds and one adjacent shower room with wc. 
One cottage has a kitchen / diner with separate lounge, the other is open plan and has a lounge / diner / kitchen, excellent for wheel chair users. The kitchens are very well equipped with gas cooker, microwave, fridge / freezer, dishwasher and washing machine, and both cottages have feature fire places with woodburners. There is easy access through French doors on to the south facing patios, each with patio furniture and BBQ. there is ample off road parking.
