Located on the borders of Normandy and Brittany and perfectly situated for sight seeing, with easy access to excellent shopping and holiday diversions. Mont St. Michel is only 40 minutes drive away, with the wonderful beaches the same distance. The ancient Breton towns of St. Malo and Fougiers are only 20 minutes away and the town of St. Hilaire du Harcourt with its' traditional French market on Wednesdays is only 10 minutes. For swimming, boating and leisure park, the nearby Barrage de Vezins is well worth a visit and the property is easily accessible from the ports of Cherbourg (2½ hrs), Caen and St Malo.

The Cottage: which is available throughout the year, is equipped with a gas Aga and two wood burners for those out of season chilly evenings, satellite TV, and new for the summer will be a plunge pool.
The property has 3 bedrooms; 1 with double bed, 1 with double and single bed and 1 sitting room/bedroom with futon on the upper floor.

3 bathrooms; 1 downstairs with bath and shower attachment, WC, basin and washing machine. 1 bathroom en-suite to family room with shower, WC and basin. 1 with shower, basin and WC.
The Kitchen/living/dining room is large and comfortable, with all of the usual implements and fittings to make your holiday enjoyable.
Outside; is a private garden with furniture and a BBQ.

Bed & Breakfast: we offer traditional English style B&B accommodation for long or short breaks in the depths of the Normandy countryside. Oak beams, antique pine furniture and wood burners with home baked bread for breakfast are on offer at Les Chataigniers. Our guests love the charming atmosphere and many have extended their stay after sampling our hospitality. We have 2 double bedrooms each with its' own bathroom. Evening meals including wine can be provided with a relaxing aperitif in the pretty gardens surrounding the farmhouse.
