This beautiful restored 18th Century Stone house, is located in the centre of the old medieval town of Sarlat, where we must point out that they are narrow cobblestone streets, where parking is restricted to the periphery of the town only.  Sarlat is situated in the heart of the 'Perigord Noir', and is a protected capital of the Old Province. 
Sarlat boasts many classified ancient buildings, an open air market and a "Jeux du Theatre" festival which is one of the main attractions. The town is also a perfect central location for touring the Dordogne region. Situated only 5km from activities such as canoeing, kayaking, rock climbing, tennis and golf, there is always something to do. 
The town of Lascaux is also only 20km away, which makes a good destination for a day trip or sightseeing. The region is easily toured by bicycle, and rental is widely and easily available. There are also guided hikes available, and local assistance is available in English, French, Dutch or German. 

Accommodation

The house itself comfortably sleeps four adults in 2 bedrooms. The lounge has a fireplace, metered telephone, TV, VCR, and stereo. The kitchen has a washer/dryer, microwave, toaster, coffeemaker and dishes and utensils are provided. Linen is included. 
There is also a bicycle storage area. Pets are not permitted.
