Villard de Lans, a traditional alpine village, is one of the top 10 resorts in France offering excellent holiday facilities in both winter and summer, while retaining its original character. Set in the Vercors Naturel Park, the village is surrounded by stunning countryside; ideal for walking, mountain biking and lazy picnics by mountain streams. Indoor and outdoor swimming pools, skating rink, casino, parascending, rock climbing, adventure parks, tennis and 18 hole golf course are all available in and around the village. Villard de Lans is easily accessible by car, being only 30 minutes from the A48.

Skiing at Villard de Lans consists of 130 kms of alpine slopes with pistes to suit all abilities and one of the leading cross-country ski centres in France with 160 kms of marked trails. The alpine ski area is served by 2 cable cars, a fast 6-man chair, 26 other lifts and 140 snow canons. Little known outside France, the resort is an ideal centre for family or group skiing holidays with crèche, apres-ski and indoor sports facilities. A free bus service stops close to the cottage to take you to the ski slopes (less than 3 miles away).

More spacious than many holiday apartments, the cottage comfortably sleeps 5 to 7 people, and is situated in a quiet quarter on the edge of Villard de Lans, a short walk from the centre. It faces onto a stream and has an uninterrupted view of the mountains.
The living room is spacious with kitchen area, dining area and a spiral staircase leading to a large family bedroom with double bed, single bed and Z bed. Another double bedroom, bathroom and WC can be found on the ground floor. If required, a sofa bed in the living room provides extra, flexible sleeping accommodation. There is also a private terrace and double garage.
English owners live nearby to offer assistance in making your holiday a success.

Nearest airports: are Grenoble, Lyon, Geneva and Chambery (ski season only).
The TGV stops at Grenoble or Valence stations.
