Chez Gros Jean is a traditional secluded, farmhouse. The property offers a detached three-storey home set in fine enclosed grounds with a large walled orchard. Accommodation comprises kitchen/dining area, sitting room; a hallway leading through to the bathroom and separate WC.  There are enclosed gardens to the rear, with paddocks attached. The second floor comprises 3 large double bedrooms one with adjoining bathroom. The property is comfortably furnished throughout with gas, electricity and water all-inclusive except for winter heating, when a supplement is charged.

Activities include swimming, sailing, canoeing, horse riding, fishing and hundreds of miles of rambling. There is also a wide selection of historical places, from beautiful Chateaux’s to ancient sites. Information is available on local events such as Fetes, Antique Fairs, local markets and music festivals.

Details on additional events can also be supplied. There is local shopping in St. Sulpice Les Feuilles and the charm of local bars, restaurants and more shopping in La Souterraine just 20 minutes away.
