La Coufaudiere is the perfect location to relax in the sun, chill out or use up your excess energies. It is your choice. It enjoys miles of traffic-free roads and a peaceful countryside location. La Coufaudiere is a hamlet of only two properties set amongst fields of Limousin cattle and sheep, arable crops and glorious sunflowers. The nearest village is 5 mins away but there are many large shopping towns close by. This is the country of lakes, with some 25,000 acres of water, offering all types of sport from fishing to windsurfing, or you can ride or cycle around their shores. Futurascope at Poitiers is close enough for a day trip, as is Limoges, with it's world-famous porcelain and enamel work.

The cottage has a light and airy living area, with oak beams, a beautiful oak and stone fireplace, and a wood burner. The kitchen area is fully equipped with cooker, microwave, washing machine and ample crockery and cutlery. There is a sofa bed, comfortable furniture and patio doors leading to the garden. The upstairs bedroom has twin beds and a shower room. The cottage is newly renovated with modern facilities, but the beauty of the ancient property has been carefully maintained.

Self contained in its own garden, it is within the owners property which is around 8 acres. It has a BBQ and garden furniture and there is parking alongside the cottage. Guests are welcome to walk the fields and enjoy the horses, cats and wildlife in this beautiful part of rural France. You can also have fun exploring the local area on 'quad bikes', arranged through a friend of the owner!
