Location:  Situated within the Charente Maritime near to the Gironde estuary with miles of sandy beaches, the climate is both gentle and warm most of the year. Excellent location for those who enjoy walking, golf or cycling. In addition, pony trekking is available near at hand. The Cote Sauvage is approximately 2 miles walk through the forest (you may drive and park near to the beach). Our favourite beach at St. Palais is approx. 3½ miles. Within a short driving distance are the attractive towns of La Palmyre (with it's zoo) and Royan with the ancient riverside village of  Talmot a little further. Cognac and La Rochelle are located within 40  miles.

Accommodation: generously equipped mobile home with 2 bedrooms, wc/shower room, lounge & kitchen area with fridge, cooker with grill and oven. Connected to all mains services with bottled gas (cooking and heating) and electricity (lighting and fridge) included. External patio with table and chairs, wonderful for sitting out in the evening.  Three bedroom version also available. Car parking next to mobile home.

Holiday Park: Attractively situated at the edge of the forest among the pine and oak trees, it has plenty of shade and is ideal for those who enjoy the outdoors or lazing in the sun with the local wine, cheese and a baguette. There is a shop, bar/cafe (also take away food), two pools (one with water slide) separate paddling pool, tennis, table tennis, boule, volley ball, bicycle hire, children's play area and children's club. Disco once or twice a week.
