This charming, authentically restored cottage is situated just outside the village of Larbey, in the hilly Chalosse. Enjoying a very rural location with the nearest beach just an hours drive away, for swimming, surfing and other water sports. Many beautiful places can be found between 1 and 2 hours drive, including Biarritz, St Jean de Luz, San  Sebastian, Pau, the Pyrenees, Salies de Bearn and Sauveterre de Bearn. There are many local fetes to enjoy in the local towns and villages during the summer, the main feature being the Course Landaise. This is a variation of the bull fight, but with no killing involved. The nearest town is at Mugron, just 7kms away, with 2 supermarkets, cinema and tennis courts. Larbey bakery, just 10 minutes walk away, is open daily except Monday, from 8.00am - 10.30 am for fresh baguettes and croissants.

The Cottage: has a double bedroom with shower and en-suite w.c., and a smaller twin bedroom, bathroom and w.c. The large living area has satellite TV, telephone and open fire and is of open plan design incorporating the kitchen/dining area. In addition there are cards, board games, books to read and videos which are changed on a yearly basis.

The kitchen is fully equipped with gas/electric stove, fridge/freezer and washing machine,  the cottage is centrally heated and comfortably furnished throughout.

Outside: There is a lovely garden in a rural setting for those peaceful moments, with BBQ and sun loungers.
