This comfortable traditional single storey farmhouse is set in the secluded village of Raye sur Authie, and has been refurbished with a new kitchen and bathroom. The house is surrounded by over half an acre of grass and trees. The interior is spacious with exposed beams, an open fire and comfortable furnishings. The surrounding countryside is tranquil and ideal for cycling and walking. There are sleepy little hamlets all around whilst larger towns such as Hesdin, Abbeville and the beaches at Le Touquet and Berck are easily reached by car for interesting days out. With golf courses nearby.

The accommodation: There is a farmhouse kitchen/dining room with fridge/freezer, washing machine, cooker and microwave. The spacious and comfortable living room has a Colour/Combi TV/video, stereo system an open fire and French windows leading into the garden. Leading from the living room are two double bedrooms ideally suited for adults in the group, while at the other end of the house where it is quieter, are 2 more bedrooms, 1 with twin beds and 1 with bunk beds- ideal for children. Wall heaters in each bedroom.  The bathroom has a bath with shower over, basin and w.c, and a 175 litre electrically heated water tank. 

The lawned gardens are private and spacious, with a south facing patio at the rear, ideal for al-fresco eating/drinking. There is a BBQ and garden furniture for outside dining. There is an amply stocked wood store accessible from the front of the property.
