The unspoilt sleepy village of Ventenac makes an ideal base for exploring the Aude and Languedoc area, and is just 30mins from the endless Mediterranean beaches near Narbonne. The village has a restaurant, where you can dine outside next to the Canal du Midi, a post office, bakery and Chateau where you can buy excellent local wine. The Pyrenees, Barcelona and Figueros are all possible for day trips, and the magnificent medieval city of Carcassonne is just 45mins. The Cathar village of Minerve which hugs the gorge, is just 30mins and is well known for their potent red wines. The Canal du Midi is perfect for simply relaxing, boating, or cycling and walking.

Both the studio and the apartment are newly and tastefully renovated, and form part of a converted wine cave. Situated in a quiet street close to the village restaurant, each with their own private terrace for outside dining.

The Studio: (2 persons) has a living room/kitchen, bathroom with shower/toilet, separate bedroom with twin beds, TV, radio/CD player and patio with BBQ.

The Apartment: (4 persons + fold away bed)
Ground floor: has a spacious lounge, dining area, kitchen, double bedroom, toilet, terrace with BBQ, TV, radio/CD player.
Second floor: twin bedroom, shower room, toilet etc.

Linen and towels are included, and laundry facility is available.
