Number 7, Place du Marché, Balleroy is a charming old stone built house which sleeps 7 and occupies a prime position in one of Normandy's most attractive villages, close to historic Château. It commands extensive views over the village, and the great forest of Cérisy. An excellent centre for historic Normandy and the D-Day beaches, Bayeux, 16 kms away, Caen, 36kms and the coast a half hours drive. Good food shops in village, and unspoilt countryside all around.

The House: dates from the 17©  and is attractively furnished as a 'second home', visitors appreciate its welcoming family atmosphere. Upstairs are 2 bedrooms, one with double bed and one with 3 singles, with a 'cabinet de toilette' (w.c, bidet, washbasin) between them. Downstairs are 2 more principal rooms, one 'convertible', with a comfortable double sofa bed, the other a sitting/dining room. All main rooms have attractive old beamed ceilings. At the back there is a spacious south facing veranda, with bathroom and well equipped kitchen leading off. Outside, the sheltered patio leads to a picturesque, peaceful and enclosed garden, with furniture and BBQ for outside dining. There is also a garage, with washing machine, tumble dryer.
