The Manche is an historic and friendly area of Normandy, from Cherbourg in the north, to the famous Mont St Michel in the South. To the east are the World War II landing beaches, and to the west is a scenic coastline with miles of unspoiled sandy beaches. This area offers charming old churches and castles, excellent weekly markets, and many summer festivals. It is the cider and Calvados area of France, with a local speciality of 'mussels and chips'. 

Our two pretty cottages are located in a country setting, across from a popular windmill restaurant. The Cherbourg ferry is 30 miles away (we offer P&O ferry discounts) and the beaches of Barneville/Carteret are a 10 minute drive. Day trips to Jersey may be taken from Carteret.

Each cottage is fully equipped, all electric, and includes fridge, washing machine, English TV/video, each have 3 bedrooms upstairs, sleeping 6. Bicycles are available. The cottages share a pleasant wooded back garden with seating and barbecues. 

The owners live on site to ensure everything you need is provided. We look forward to your visit!
