Le Noyer, in the heart of the beautiful Perigord Vert, is a restored farmhouse enjoying an elevated position with stunning views of the surrounding countryside. The abbey town of Brantôme, steeped in history,  is just 8 kms. away, where there are many activities on offer including river watersports, shopping and sightseeing. The Benedictine Abbey is said to have the oldest bell tower in France, and the Friday market is well worth a visit with its' local produce, and bars and restaurants are plentiful. One of the most beautiful cities in the south west of France, Perigueux, has a twice weekly market, and a beautiful Romanesque cathedral, with the old Roman city on the outskirts of the town. The area is rich in history, with many places of interest to visit; the prehistoric caves with their wall paintings, old abbeys and fortresses, Bourdeilles, Cognac, the Dordogne valley, Villars and Oradour sur Glane are just some of the suggested trips.

The Farmhouse: has three bedrooms, all of which are spacious, light and airy. There are two with double beds, one of which is en suite, and the smaller one has adult bunk beds. The separate bathroom has a shower, w.c. and basin. The comfortably furnished living room offers a selection of board games and a CD/cassette player, with T.V./ video hire available. For those rare chilly evenings, the log burning stove makes a cheerful addition to the room, giving a warm and cosy atmosphere.

The kitchen/dining area is spacious with seating for 8 people, and is well equipped with washing machine, dishwasher, gas hob, combination microwave oven and a fridge.

The garden, being 7 acres of woods and fields, offers many a secluded spot to while away the days, with boules and badminton available for the more active. The terrace has garden furniture and BBQ for outside dining, while you enjoy the warm summer evenings watching the sun set over the valley.
