This cottage is part of a Large Napoleonic Barn, the other half of which the owners use for their holidays. Livernon, is the nearest village and has shops, bar/restaurant, tennis court and evening markets during the summer. Just a few miles away is Assier, which also has an excellent market, restaurants, main line station and a summer music festival in the grounds of the Chateau. Further south lies Albi, Toulouse and Carcassonne, to the north the Dordogne valley, and to the east the Auvergne. Canoeing, swimming, boating and golf are available in the area, and there is a beach at a lake 40 mins drive away. Figeac is the nearest town and has a twice weekly market, swimming pool, hypermarket and many sights worth visiting. The Cottage: has 1 large room downstairs, with a wood burning stove, comfortable seating and a dining area for six. The corner kitchen is well equipped with cooker, fridge and microwave, and many original features remain in this rustic style property. On the first floor there is a bathroom with washing machine, toilet and shower, a large double bedroom, and another bedroom with 2 singles and a foldaway bed. The outside terrace overlooks fields and has patio furniture and BBQ. The area around the barn is cut grass but wild and natural with a beautiful old oak tree casting its shade. Linen provided
