Perched high above the picturesque Dordogne valley, this traditional stone cottage is set in 2 acres of grounds, in the village of Ymons. With lovely views over the woods and rolling countryside with the Cantal mountains beyond, it offers an excellent base for exploring the breathtaking surrounding area. Ideal for walking and bird watching with many other activities close by, swimming at the outdoor heated pool at Bassignac, fishing and swimming from the small beach at Lac de Feyt, or the large leisure pool at Argentat. In the area there is also cycling, canoeing, horse riding, and many castles and caves. Weekly markets can be found in Argentat, and there are many reasonably priced restaurants in an area renowned for it's superb food and wine.

The Cottage: has been recently restored, with lots of exposed beams and stonework. The lounge/diner has a huge stone fireplace with log burner, satellite TV, and is comfortably furnished. Doors open onto a large vine clad balcony, where you can breakfast in the morning sun, or enjoy an evening BBQ. Steps lead down into the large garden and the 2 acre field below. The fully equipped kitchen has fridge/freezer, dishwasher, electric cooker/hob, microwave, washing machine etc. 
All 3 bedrooms are en-suite, 1 double downstairs and upstairs there are 2 further bedrooms each with a double bed and 2 single beds.

Large selection of bicycles for guests to use.
