In a secluded position, in the picturesque grounds of Chateau Le Verdoyer, offering 2 swimming pools, tennis, petanque pistes and a selection of other activities. There are 2 freshwater lakes on the estate, 1 for Carp fishing and the other with a small beach for swimming. In July and August there is a very popular children's club, and live entertainment some evenings, no disco's! Within the Chateau itself, there is a Bistro, and a gourmet restaurant. In addition there is a terrace bar, and also a take-away which is available June, July, August and early September. Within the local area there is a golf course and also a fly fishing lake, well stocked with Trout. Cost for day fishing ticket 65ff, (£6.50 !!!). 
Situated some 50kms south west of Limoge, and 15kms from the small town of Nontron, with the capital of the region, Perigeaux, 50kms south. The whole area is rich in history, with incredible world famous cave systems in the locality,  including the caves at Grotte de Villars. There are wonderful markets in the region and of course the famous Bordeaux wines, foie gras, truffles and wild mushrooms and the Dordognes famous strawberries. Canoeing, cycling and horse riding are also available.

The Mobile Home: has 1 twin and 1 double bedroom, with a convertible double bed in the large lounge/dining area. There is a radio/cassette/cd player. The kitchen is fully equipped with fridge, gas hob and microwave. The shower room has shower and washbasin, and there is a separate toilet. Outside there is patio furniture with seating and place settings for 8, gazebo, BBQ, loungers and space for car parking. Also available for hire, cycles, fishing rods, tennis racquets and petanque boules.

Linen can be hired, and we suggest extra blankets early and late in the season.
No smoking inside.
Washing/ironing facilities available.
