Just a 5 minute drive from Chamonix centre, the popular venue for world cup downhill and slalom events, is Les Houches, which has shops and restaurants. The local ski area has 16 lifts and over 60 kms of pistes for all standards. The whole Chamonix area has an amazing 600 kms of pistes which are accessible either by car or the frequent ski bus. Flégère / Brévent is just 10 mins, Argentière is 20 mins, and Megéve 40 mins. The summer activities are endless, plenty of walking, mountain biking, canoeing and golf to name just a few. 

The Chalet is located in a quiet residential area with views over the village and across the valley, and is just a few minutes walk to the shops and restaurants.
On the ground floor the kitchen is equipped with fridge, dishwasher and full size cooker, the living room is dual aspect with 2 single beds/sofa and has a south facing patio. There is a double bedroom with en-suite shower and a separate toilet. 
A wooden spiral staircase takes you to the 1st floor, which has a bedroom with twin beds, and a mezzanine with 2 single beds, with full length window to the rear, and a bathroom with bath, basin and toilet. (please note:  the max height on the 1st floor is only 5'5").
