Welcome to our traditional stone Breton farmhouse which was built approximately 200 years ago, set in the tiny rural Hamlet of La Coudrais, surrounded by the relaxing countryside of Southern Brittany which borders the Loire Valley.

The beautiful Gulf of Morbihan with its popular beaches are approx. 35 minutes drive away.  Visit the inland port town of Redon set on the confluence of the river Villaine and the Nante/Brest canal, there are numerous shops and supermarkets, a new leisure centre with 3 indoor pools, also for summer an outside pool.  Just 5 minutes drive away is the historic town of “La Gacilly”, with its quaint cobbled streets housing local artisans and cottage industries, including hand made armour.  The town has numerous restaurants and bistros including a Vietnamese establishment.  The river Aff flows through the town via a spectacular weir, take a picnic on one of the day boats and explore the countryside at a leisurely pace!  Visit nearby The “Isle aux Pies” (Isle of Magpies) with magnificent views including the rock faces rising from the river Oust, try the excellent restaurant by the river.

The building is divided into 3 Gites:

‘LE PETUNIA’  Or as we call it the FARMHOUSE being our largest Gite, is traditional in style and retains much of its original character. The comfortably furnished lounge/dining area is very spacious, with exposed beams and a superb Breton fireplace boasting a large wood burning stove for those cooler evenings.  The property is cosy and well equipped, complete with CD/Radio system, TV/video and an English Satellite TV connection, making it a perfect choice for any time of year. There are 3 bedrooms, one newly converted very large double/family room with an ensuite shower room, WC and wash hand basin with wardrobes, one double with a very spacious in-built wardrobe, one with two singles again with a spacious wardrobe, also there is a double convertible bed in the lounge, making a possibility of 8 - 10 people for sleeping. Bathroom with bath and separate toilet. The kitchen area is well equipped including oven, hob, fridge/freezer, microwave and washing machine.

‘LA JONQUILLE’ (smaller Gite) newly converted self-contained cottage, sleeps up to 5 + cot, 2 bedrooms (4’6 bed, bunks and 1 single), shower and toilet, kitchen/dining area, and lounge with a woodburning stove, English Satellite connection and CD/Radio player.  Patio with flowers, garden furniture and BBQ.

‘LA JACINTHE’ (Apartment) furnished in a traditional style, sleeps 2 + cot, kitchen, lounge/bedroom, (5’ double bed), TV with English Satellite, shower and toilet, with a graveled patio area, shrubs, flowers, garden furniture and BBQ.

All 3 Gites are tastefully furnished and well equipped, to ensure your stay will be comfortable and enjoyable.
