This is a spacious and comfortable self-contained first floor flat in our elegant town house. We are near the centre of this small spa town, within easy walking distance of shops and cafes/restaurants.

Facilities available in St.Honore include an indoor/outdoor swimming pool, tennis courts, mini golf, a weekly market, and a thriving casino. The spa itself, which is set in beautiful gardens, is famed for its treatment of respiratory conditions, and is open to all. Nearby is an equestrian centre for those who enjoy riding.
St Honore is at the southern edge of the Morvan National Park, an area of great natural beauty - hilly, with forests ideal for rambling, and lakes where one can swim, windsurf or sail. It is also well placed for visits to the wine growing areas of the Cote d'Or (Beaune) in the east, and the Loire (Pouilly and Sancerre) in the west. In the area there is a great variety of places of interest to visit eg:- Nevers, on the Loire, with its cathedral and Palais Ducal, Decize, a town of bridges which has five waterways including the Loire and the Canals du Nivernais and Lateral, the Roman town of Autun, the Gallo-Roman excavations of Bibracte at Le Mont Beuvray, Cluny, Chateau Chinon, Lac des Settons for water sports, Lakes Baye and Vaux for swimming and fishing (permits required), the La Collancelle tunnel on the Canal du Nivernais, so peaceful for a stroll, or to enjoy a trip on the Peniche Aster, the medieval town of Vezelay with its basilica where the second crusade was preached, and still a centre of pilgrimage today.
Although St. Honore is classed as a town, it has more the feel of a village where life proceeds at a leisurely pace. It is an ideal base for touring the area.

The accommodation consists of the whole of the upper floor of the house, with a separate entrance at the rear. There are three bedrooms - one double with en-suite shower room, one single with shower and wash basin and a further single with wash basin, separate w.c; dining kitchen with electric and gas cooking facilities, fridge freezer, microwave etc, sitting room with comfortable seating, radio/tape-player, dining/games room with scrabble, backgammon, monopoly, cards etc, and a good library of paperbacks, numerous local maps and local information. There is a washing machine in the basement.

Outside there is a courtyard at the back with garden furniture and a barbecue. 

We do not normally provide bed linen or towels, and we prefer non-smokers.
