A charmingly restored, cosy grape pickers cottage, just 1.5km from the centre of Narbonne and 500mtrs from local shopping, but enjoying spacious secluded grounds, shared with the owners. The lively ancient city of Narbonne has much to offer, with splendid museums, delightful riverbanks to explore and shady boulevard restaurants for watching the world go by. Sailing, windsurfing and waterskiing can be enjoyed from the nearby sandy beaches of Gruissan and Narbonne-Plage. The vineyards of Corbieres, Minervois and Fitou, and the fascinating Cathar castles are well within reach. Le Clape National Park is perfect for walking and cycling and is just a few minutes away. Slightly further afield is Montpellier, and the Pyrenees approx 45mins, the Roman amphitheatre at Nimes, the Roman aqueduct at Pont de Gard and the Spanish border just 45mins.

The Cottage: is approached by a private drive, through a separate gate into a large courtyard, with an independent entrance. Retaining its original features, it offers a prettily furnished extremely comfortable living room with TV, with steep stairs to the first floor. The compact kitchen has a 2 ring hob, small oven, microwave, washing machine, dishwasher and fridge/freezer, with a separate dining room which has a door to a private, south facing terrace, overlooking the large secluded garden and swimming pool 10m x 5m, depth 1.5m - 2.5m. The ground floor bathroom, has a bath with shower, washbasin and wc. and there is a large twin bedroom on the first floor. 

Outside: there is a private terrace with garden furniture and BBQ. The owners also have a friendly dog.
