La Division, is a charming and tastefully converted collection of farm buildings, of which the cottage is one. An excellent base for exploring this picturesque area, the village has a patisserie, butcher and general store, with a main supermarket just 10 minutes away. The beautiful town of Saumur on the river Loire, with its magnificent towering chateau, boasts excellent shops, restaurants, pavement cafes, and numerous museums and places of interest, not least the multitude of wine tasting caves! Further afield is Angers, with the castle dominating the centre, it has some of the finest gardens in the region and excellent shopping. Swimming is available in most of the numerous leisure lakes all close to your holiday home, Mouliherne, the closest, just 10 mins, and just slightly further Rille, Les Loges and  Homme offer a variety of water activities including fishing, swimming, boating and windsurfing. Golf is available at Bauge, Saumur and Fontevraud, and with the area being largely flat, cycles are available free of charge for your use.

The Cottage: is everybody's dream of just how a cottage should look, with it's mellow beams, white rough cast walls and tiled terracotta floors. Charming throughout, it is centrally heated and is mainly on the ground floor apart from the galleried bedroom overlooking the comfortable, L shaped lounge/diner. The kitchen is fully equipped with cooker, fridge and washing machine, and there is a shower room with basin and toilet, also on the ground floor. There is a private patio overlooking the lawned garden, complete with table and chairs for your enjoyment, a BBQ is available for your use.

The properties are in the heart of the beautiful, rural French countryside, surrounded by farms. Overlooking a courtyard set in 5 acres of privately owned paddocks and gardens, fenced and hedged affording seclusion, this makes an ideal location for a perfect holiday. Your hosts, John and Deidre, live on site and will be happy to help with queries and problems, ensuring a perfect stay.
