This charming collection of farmhouse and
gites is set in 2/3rds of an acre amidst orchards, on the road
between Avignon and St-Rémy-de-Provence ideally situated for exploring
Provence. Our outbuildings have been converted to comfortable, fully
equipped self-catering Gîtes and our gardens are landscaped to include a
12 x 6m swimming pool, summer house, a pond and waterfall, and secluded
seating areas for the use of our guests.
At 500 meters from the village of Rognonas and all its services, you are
at an easy walk or drive from four bakeries, one grocery store, two "traiteurs",
two bars and restaurants as well as all the other conveniences of an
active village.
The city of Avignon's exciting downtown itself is but a seven-minute
drive away.
As well as standard self-catered "Gîte" accommodation, we offer a range
of services to make Mas Saint-Antoine "more than just a Gîte", ranging
from local information services, mini Boule tournaments, to poolside
BBQ/Pizza or Provencal evenings on our terrace watching the sunset. It’s
a great way of meeting others staying at Mas Saint Antoine.
As we live on site we are always around to answer your questions, offer
you assistance and share our knowledge of the region. Every gîte is
provided with information describing life at the Mas as well as plenty
of brochures and maps on local attractions, cycle hire, markets and
recommended restaurants. (We'll even help with reservations, if you need
it.)
For wine lovers, we can help plan your day if you would like to self
drive or if you want to be driven we can arrange with a tour operator
who has been in the wine industry for over 25 years.
Casa Dora sleeps 4 People. Totally
rebuilt "porcherie”. A ground floor apartment with private terrace for
outside dining shaded by one of our many grapevines for you to enjoy.
Living/dining/kitchen combined. The fitted kitchen is fully equipped
with gas stove, microwave oven, dishwasher, coffeemaker, toaster, etc.
Radio/tape/CD player & TV with DVD. Large main bedroom with Queen size
bed and closets with private bathroom. Second bedroom is smaller & has 2
single beds with built in closet and private bathroom. Private charcoal
BBQ.
St. Sebastien sleeps 4 people. Upstairs apartment above Casa
Dora. Very elegant and spacious, with cathedral ceilings and exposed
beams. Private entrance in the rear of the gite. Ceiling fans in all
rooms. Combined dining/kitchen, fully equipped with dishwasher,
microwave, gas cook top, electric oven toaster, coffee maker,
radio/tape/CD player etc.
Main bedroom with queen size bed and en-suite bathroom. Second bedroom
has twin beds with its bathroom off hallway. Balcony with dining table,
overlooking the pool. Small second area downstairs with gas BBQ.
Chez Pauline sleeps 2-3 people. Rebuilt & renovated stable. A
delightful 1 bedroom attached cottage. Fully equipped kitchen with
dishwasher, gas stove/hobs, microwave oven, coffee maker, toaster,
radio/CD player, French TV etc. Separate lounge with Fulton that folds
out to an extra bed. Dining/kitchen with window opening onto a private
shaded terrace and garden with own gas BBQ and patio furniture. Large
bedroom with kingsize bed and en-suite bathroom. The bedroom has French
doors opening onto your private terrace.
Le Kiwi sleeps 2 people. Our Honeymoon Suite – Lovely
self-contained converted barn with private shaded terrace for outside
dining. Bright fitted kitchen with fridge, gas oven/hobs, microwave
oven, dishwasher, toaster, coffee maker, radio/cd player, French TV etc.
Separate bathroom off the kitchen. Large bedroom with romantic four
posted queen size bed, and small lounge area leading out to the Terrace.
Gas BBQ.
Le Cabanon sleeps 2 people. Independent studio. Small and
self-contained converted farmworker's cottage. Kitchenette with fridge,
2 gas rings, combined microwave/electric oven, toaster, coffee maker
etc. 2 high stools for indoor dining. Radio/tape/CD player. Double bed,
shower and separate WC and sink. Exposed beams in cathedral ceiling.
Windows in kitchen opening out onto private terrace for outside dining.
Gas bbq.
Pool Studio sleeps 2 people. Located within the fenced pool area.
Bedroom with double bed, small bathroom and combined kitchen/dining.
Outdoor terrace off bedroom and outdoor dining table with gas bbq off
kitchen area. Large French doors facing out onto the swimming pool and
gardens. Newly fitted kitchen with fridge, electric oven, gas hobs,
microwave, toaster, coffee maker, Radio/CD player
All linens and bathroom towels supplied. There are shared laundry
facilities complete with detergents.
Wi-fi is available if you bring your own laptop/blackberry.
Avignon airport is 15 minutes away with Nimes or Marseille being 45
minutes. Rental cars are available at all airports but we can arrange
collection to and from any airport if required.
Avignon TGV is 10 minutes away with rental car facilities. Collection to
and from the TGV is available if required.
A local bus service to Avignon, St Remy etc is within 5 minutes walk
from Mas Saint Antoine.
Highchair/cots/booster seats and a light stroller (suitable for 6 months
to 3 years or 15kg) are available at no extra cost. We do suggest that
you let us know if you require any of these at the time of your booking
so they can be reserved.

au milieu de vergers, est situé entre Avignon et Saint-Rémy-de-Provence.
