In the heart of the Loire valley wine route and in the Parc National (famous for bird watching), these glorious gîtes offer superb self-catering cottages and converted barns, in a child friendly environment. Just a short drive away are world famous zoos, Futuroscope, the Vendee beaches, not to mention fantastic gourmet restaurants along with restaurants that provide a superb meal at low prices. Local markets provide you with the freshest of ingredients for your meals.

The properties are just 4 kilometres from the centre of Doué La Fontaine, famous for its' roses, and just 15 minutes from historic Saumur with its glorious chateau towering above the ancient town and romantic river, all set in the heart of the glorious Loire Valley, France. The area is steeped in history with many superb chateaux being open to the public. Wine tasting is available everywhere, where you can sample the wines that have been made by the same families for generations. Golf courses dot the region, cycling, bird watching; fishing, water sports are all close by.

Over two hundred years old, Les Fleurs comprises of three gîtes, sleeping 2, 6 and 8, which retain typical French farmhouse charm, whilst providing the comforts of home. The heated swimming pool, paddling pool, children’s play area with toddler slide and swings, are situated in a garden which basks in sunshine from early morning until sunset.

The cottages have been comfortably converted to achieve privacy, each having their own outside dining space. The heated swimming pool is situated in the large sunny top garden, where you can lounge in the sunshine from early morning until late evening. The children's play area; tables, chairs, & sun loungers are also in this large garden.

Soleil: 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, sleeps 8 plus cot. A converted wine making barn, the original beams throughout lend to the history and charm of Soleil. The huge lounge/dining room is beautifully furnished and has TV, DVD and video, hi-fi and cd's, plus books and games for all ages. The semi-circular kitchen is fully fitted with all modern conveniences and we have retained the original wine press and stone flagged floor where one can see the footprint depressions of the wine press operators. All the bedrooms are very comfortable, the family room having a double bed and bunk beds. Two of the bedrooms are en-suite and a third bathroom is next to the third bedroom. French doors lead from the foyer (where there is a downstairs toilet) to your own private patio area complete with garden furniture and barbeque. Strictly no smoking and no pets.

Anjou: 3 bedrooms, sleeps 6 plus cot. The farmhouse is fully equipped with all mod cons including washing machine, iron and ironing board etc, and the newly fitted kitchen has a dishwasher, fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle, integral oven and hob. The lounge features a real wood burning fire, and is also equipped with TV, DVD and video, hi-fi, cds, videos, books and games. The private and secluded garden at the rear of the property is safe and secure for children, as well as offering complete privacy. The gite has two double bedrooms, one twin room a shower room and separate toilet. Strictly no smoking and no pets.

Lys: One bedroom, sleeps 2 plus cot. Lys has been sympathetically renovated and has wonderful views from the mezzanine, over the vine- yards and countryside. Exposed, beautiful stone walls, and original beams have been used to create some outstanding features. The lounge is very comfortably furnished, having a TV, DVD player, hi-fi, DVDs, books and games. The delightful kitchen / dining room is open plan; the kitchen is fully equipped with washing machine, dishwasher, fridge, cooker and microwave. French doors lead onto a very private patio garden with BBQ and garden furniture. The main bedroom is on the 'L' shaped mezzanine floor. There is also settee where you can sit with a glass of Loire wine and enjoy the views. The bathroom has a hand basin, toilet and shower. Strictly no smoking and no pets.
