Happy Days Bed and Breakfast is in an ideal location just on the outskirts of a typical French village in the Dordogne area of France. It is within walking distance of a fine restaurant 'le Pressoir', post office, bakers, tabac and petrol station, hairdressers, butchers and small shop. There is an equestrian centre in the village as well. Happy Days Bed and Breakfast is a family run business. The family being The Charlesworths; Helen, David and Emma who came to France in April 2002 to realise their dream of running a business in France. The business has been taking in guests since June 2003 after substantial renovations had been undertaken. The family are very settled into the French way of life and their daughter is fully integrated into the French school in the village.

The property is a recently converted barn comprising of two bed and breakfast rooms, one studio apartment, a one-bedroom apartment and a two-bedroom apartment. (The apartments can also be used as bed and breakfast rooms as well if needed). All bedrooms and apartments have en-suite bathrooms. The two upstairs bed and breakfast rooms and the one bedroom apartment lead onto a sun terrace with fantastic views of the next village of St Remy sur Lidoire. The two-bedroom downstairs apartment is designed for families, as the second bedroom has three single beds. The studio apartment is situated next to the family house with French doors leading onto the garden. There is a large breakfast room with kitchenette and a billiard room.

Facilities within the bed and breakfast consist of large communal breakfast area with kitchenette containing fridge, microwave, grill, oven and drink making facilities. There is a washing machine for which you need to buy tokens. The games room has a billiard table, where you can play pool or snooker at no charge. There is also a darts board, television and video with numerous videos to choose from and also a large range of books for clients use.

There is a large garden with above ground swimming pool, ideal for cooling down when temperatures are up to 40 degrees, and a large eating area with pergola. The pergola has lights for those wanting to enjoy an evening sat in the garden with a glass of wine or two!  The property is also fully central heated for those winter months.

 'Happy' - B & B room with en-suite bathroom

 'Heureux' - B & B room with en-suite bathroom

 'Feliz' - one-bedroom apartment, en-suite bathroom and kitchenette

 'Gelukkig' - two-bedroom apartment, en-suite bathroom, kitchenette and two bedrooms

 '16 Beech terrace' - studio apartment, one bedroom with kitchenette and en-suite bathroom
