Swimming Pool

The property is set in wooded countryside and has a large heated swimming pool.  The gite has its own garden area with fruit trees and a private entrance to the property.  It is in an excellent position to visit the châteaux and vineyards of the Loire, with good cycling, riding, and up to 7 golf courses within the area. The Loire Valley is celebrated for its warm climate, excellent wines and spectacular scenery.  There are many well known Loire wines to be tasted within a few miles of the property.  The area is also famous for its fruit trees, and cycling or walking amongst the many orchards, can make a pleasant day out.

The Cottage comprises: A bedroom with double bed, wardrobe, dressing table plus bedside tables and lamps. A  second bedroom with twin 3 foot beds, chest of drawers, bedside table, lamp and large wardrobe. A bathroom with bath, shower, washbasin and WC. A sitting room with armchairs, sofa and dining table with 6 chairs, coffee tables, cupboards and sideboard.  A video player for UK videos and a CD, radio and tape player are provided, plus a selection of video films, CD's and tapes.
There is a corner kitchen with a gas/electric cooker with full sized oven.  A washing machine, toaster, refrigerator and microwave oven.  The gite is fully equipped with china,  glass and cutlery and cooking equipment, electric kettle, iron and ironing board.
There is a patio area and barbecue with garden table and chairs adjoining the gite.  There is ample parking space in the large private garden. For your use and enjoyment, we also provide a badminton set and 3 bicycles.
The swimming pool, shared with the owners, is heated and measures 12 metres by 5 metres and is fully fenced with a large patio and lawned area with 4 sun beds and table, chairs and umbrellas for your personal use. The swimming pool is usually available from mid-May to early October weather permitting.

Location: Saumur is the nearest large town (12kms) on the River Loire. Also on the Loire are the towns of Angers and Tours, some 50 Kms West and East of Jumelles respectively.  The Loire valley vineyards are only 8 miles away and there are many fruit orchards in the surrounding countryside. There is a large lake at Rillé 25 Kms to the north east with swimming, boating, and fishing.  The nearest golf course is at Baugé which is approximately 20 minutes from L'Ésperance. Riding schools are nearby, along with the famous Cavalry riding academy of the Cadre Noir in Saumur.

Terms and Conditions.

The gite sleeps a maximum of 4 people and all guests must be named on the booking form in advance. If the booking is cancelled after full balance has been paid we will only refund if we are able to re-let the property.  We strongly advise you to take out travel insurance in case of ill health or cancellation for other reasons.

A 25% (non-refundable) deposit should be paid at the time of booking and the full balance to be paid eight weeks before the date of the let, plus a separate cheque for £100 which is held as a deposit against breakages, damage and cleaning  which will be refunded within two weeks of the end of the rental period. The letting period normally runs Saturday to Saturday and the property is available from 4pm on the first Saturday and should be vacated by 10am on the last Saturday.
