Les Volets Bleus is a spacious old four-storey house overlooking the small market town of Lodeve. With two living rooms, six bedrooms and two bathrooms it sleeps up to 10 people comfortably. The beautiful large terraced garden with a fabulous 10 x 5 metre infinity pool make this an entrancing location for a holiday. Parking for 2-3 cars. Located above Lodeve and with views over enthralling mountainous countryside yet within 10 minutes walking distance of shops, restaurants and the Saturday morning market, Les Volets Bleus is perfect for a holiday for one or two families or a group.  The large terraced garden offers a fantastic (unheated) 10 x 5 metre infinity pool 1.3 metres deep, with panoramic views, sunbathing in full sunlight and also secluded and shady areas for relaxation. There is a studio with a sleeping platform and barbecue area with outdoors table and seating for 12 people. The garden leads up through several levels to a "belvedere" tower with commanding views of the area. Swimming and windsurfing at Lac du Salagou; beautiful medieval Pezenas, Moliére's birthplace; the Abbey Gellone at Saint-Guilhem-le-D'èsert; Villeneuvette, founded by Colbert in 1677; fantastical terrain at Mourezes ­ all within 30 minutes drive. Local marked walks ­ 5 to 20km.

The House: The ground floor  has a stone vaulted room with music system, table tennis table and an additional refrigerator for drinks. On the first floor ­ kitchen with fridge/freezer, dishwasher, large salon for dining and lounging, WC, and a spacious terrace with fabulous view over the cathedral town. The second floor has a bathroom with old-style sitting bath, WC and washing machine, one bedroom with double bed leading to one bedroom with two single beds, one bedroom with child-size bed and Z-bed. Third floor ­ bathroom with bidet and WC, bedroom with double bed leading to bedroom with small double bed, bedroom with single bed and washbasin.

Driving time from Lodeve:
Channel ports/Chunnel 10 hours ­ you may prefer an overnight stop.
Montpellier - 40 minutes
La Mediterranée (Airport) ­ 1 hour.
Beaches - Cap d'Agde, La Grande-Motte - 1 hour.
Nimes ­ 1 hours 30 minutes.
Barcelona ­ 3 hours 30 minutes.

Flights: Daily by both British Airways (Gatwick) and Ryanair (Stanstead)

Prices per week :
Low season: £500
 Mid season: £800
High season:  £1500
A deposit of 50% of the rent confirms booking. The full balance is payable four weeks before departure, together with a returnable deposit of £200. Prices include gas, electricity and linen. Guests are asked to provide their own towels.
