The Auberge sur la Montagne is a British-run, traditional, rustic Savoyard auberge in the heart of the French Alps. Situated at Sainte Foy Tarentaise, close to Val d'Isère, they are equally well placed for winter skiing or snowboarding holidays, and summer walking or cycling holidays.

Our spacious sitting room with its 200 year old wooden beams has a fully stocked bar and a huge fireplace. We have a separate Kid's Den, restaurant, a suntrap with south-facing terrace, and eight guest bedrooms sleeping up to twenty-four people. State-of-the-art outdoor hot tub and sauna.

Buffet style breakfast, afternoon tea and a 3-course dinner, served with our quality A.O.C. house wines, followed by coffee, are included in your holiday price. We have an extensive (and ever expanding!) collection of fine wines in our cellar should you prefer something different. Packed lunches are available upon request.
Vegetarians are always well looked after. One night each week we do not provide dinner and ask you to eat out at one of the many local restaurants.

Children
We have special prices for children that vary according to numbers and rooming so please discuss this with us. We serve children's supper at 6 PM, which gives you ample time to get them into bed before adult's dinner at 8 PM-ish. Our video collection had over 150 titles at the last count and we have UK satellite TV as well as a great collection of games and juggling balls.
