Several of the many outbuildings including the stables and bakery will be transformed into luxurious holiday cottages. In the coming years we hope to have 5 cottages ready. Furnishing and run The original stone walls and oak beamed ceilings have been tastefully preserved. Antique furniture and an open fireplace add to the atmosphere. The spacious living areas flow into the dining room and the large open kitchen is fully equipped with all modern appliances.
Each cottage has a complete and modern bathroom. A sheltered terrace offers inspiring views of the surrounding countryside. Comfortable garden furniture completes the picture. Needless to say there is a BBQ provided.

The first three cottages are completely ready for use, with one sleeping 5, one sleeping 6 and one sleeping 6 to 8.

Gîte des Moines: This spacious 6-person cottage has been built in the former Abbey bakery. The authentic bread oven has been restored and is a prominent feature in the dining room.
The cottage has three double rooms, one with double bed, the other two with two single beds each.

Gîte des Templiers: Part of the stables has been used to build this roomy 6-person holiday house. The front door opens onto the 'Cour d'Honneur', the central inner court-yard of the complex. A sunny terrace is situated behind the house.
There are three large double bedrooms, one with a double bed and two with two single beds.

Linen and cleaning products:
All the necessary bed linen and towels (1 set per person per week) as well as cleaning products are included in the price. If required, Saskia is available to assist with your holiday laundry for a nominal fee.

The Suites and rooms.

l’Abbaye du Palais has three double rooms and two family suites, each suite consisting of two connecting double rooms. All rooms and suites have their own comfortable bathroom, complete with antique bath and separate shower. As well as central heating, each room / suite has an open fireplace.

Chambre du Jardin: This spacious room, facing south, looks out over the garden and the valley of the Thaurion river beyond.

Suite de l’Abbaye: The suite de l’abbaye for 2 - 4 persons has extensive views to the south and to the west. Recent renovations have restored the suite to its former glory.

Chambre du Château: This 2 person room has been stylishly decorated with the cross of the Templar Knights as a focal point.

Chambre du Parc: This two person room has been fully decorated with French antiques and looks out over the park and chapel.

Suite de l’Eglise: The suite de l’eglise (2 – 4 persons) offers plenty of space and views of the chapel, church ruins and the Allée des Tilleuils.
