Cross a  rickety bridge over the private river and you have arrived at Le Moulin De Mandeville, nestling in eight acres of private island. Between Crocy and Trun, the property is on the borders of Calvados and Orne. Originally a working mill, this beautifully restored 18© stone mill house offers  peace and tranquillity, a superb location for your holiday.

The enclosed garden and surrounding fields are yours to enjoy, as are the two rivers and with luck the occasional fish might swim by. You will find shops, bank, bakers, butchers and public telephone 4kms. away in Trun, with a Thursday market. Falaise, 12kms. away, offers further places of interest and other amenities e.g. a swimming pool and museum. The Normandy region generally has innumerable sights and pleasures for your enjoyment.

The House is centrally heated and offers a fully fitted kitchen with hob, oven, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, and washing machine, and a dining room with seating for six. The sitting room makes the perfect setting for whiling away a few hours, listening to the river cascading over the mill, or just enjoying the crackle of the log fire on cooler evenings. There is also a breakfast room with French doors, offering uninterrupted southerly views over the river and surrounding countryside.

Upstairs, there are three double bedrooms, one en-suite, and a twin with interconnecting single. Also on the upstairs floor are two fully fitted bathrooms.

The games room is extremely well fitted with snooker, darts, many board games and cards, and a bar which you are respectfully asked to replenish accordingly. Bicycles are available for your use, as are gardening tools!
