Le Roc Nord is situated in a lovely position set amongst a working vineyard in the village of St. Vivien, half way between Bergerac and St.Emilion. Previously the farmhouse to a well-established vineyard, Le Roc Nord offers you and your family not only an idyllic location for self -catering holidays with sunshine, peace and wonderful historical countryside, but also the opportunity to enjoy plenty of activities and superb food and wine. The farmhouse was tastefully refurbished and extended in 2002. The workmanship is to a very high standard and sympathetic to the traditional style of the house, and includes every modern facility.

Situated in a quiet and peaceful garden Le Roc Nord is surrounded by vines - you can buy the wine from the Co-operative in St.Vivien from 3€20 per bottle!  In the garden there is plenty of room to spread out and relax, play badminton, ball games or boules. Take a dip in the heated pool and enjoy alfresco eating on the terraces.

This extremely flexible accommodation is suitable for parties of all sizes. For 1 or 2 couples it is ideal, offering the ground floor and all the facilities - the upstairs rooms will be closed off and unoccupied. For larger groups the full accommodation is available plus all the facilities. The weekly rate will depend on the size of your party.

The 10m x 5m private heated swimming pool is totally enclosed to give peace of mind to parents of young children. The pool has a diving board, roman steps and underwater lighting. It is cleaned and maintained daily and has a salt system thus avoiding chlorine.

The Accommodation:

Salon Lounge, a large and charming ground floor 'salon' is elegantly and comfortably furnished with sofas and easy chairs. Also included are digital satellite TV, video recorder, music centre - CDs & cassettes, fire - for the cooler months, varied selection of books, local tourist guides, board games, central heating - for the cooler months.

Playroom - Sitting room, on the first floor there is a large open plan area with sofas and chairs, second TV, video and a good selection of board games - ideal for the children to get away from the parents!

Farmhouse Kitchen, is light and airy with seating for eight and, although very well equipped, it retains the traditional atmosphere of a farmhouse kitchen. A magnificent range of built-in wooden cupboards provides ample storage. Also included are gas cooker, dish washer, washing machine, microwave, tea towels, iron & ironing board
food processor, fridge and freezer, double sink with drainer, toaster, cool box and freezer blocks.

Bedrooms: Ground floor double bedroom with en-suite shower room, Ground floor twin bedded room with en-suite shower room, First floor double or twin bedded room depending on your requirements the beds can be made up as you wish, First floor twin bedded room. The two first floor bedrooms share a large bathroom with bath and shower

Terrace & pool furniture, Portable barbecues, Boules & darts, Badminton and table tennis, Sand pit and paddling pool for little ones.
