Perched 260 mtrs above the Var valley, Le Contadour is built on 7 stone terraces covered with Olive trees, Mimosa, Lemon, Kiwi and Cherry trees and has the most spectacular views of mountain, river and the sea beyond. Just 20 mins walk from the medieval village of Gattières, with its bars, restaurants, supermarket, and one of the most renowned bakeries in the area. Well situated to visit the mountain villages with wonderful flora, an excellent area for serious walkers, but also on a main bus route. Monaco, Cannes, Antibes and the Italian border are all within easy reach. 
Gattières is only 20mins from Nice airport.

The Apartment: within the villa affords an atmosphere of peace and tranquillity in a rustic yet elegant surround. The beamed sitting room, furnished with antiques, has French doors opening onto the south facing terrace, again with magnificent views. There is a TV./video/satellite and a comfortable double sofa bed. There are 2 charming bedrooms, one twin and one single where you will be woken to the sound of birdsong. An archway leads from the sitting room into a fitted kitchen with cooker, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, washing machine and microwave etc, with a door leading onto a private shaded terrace; being perfect for outdoor dining. Off the bedrooms is an elegant shower room with toilet. There is a beautiful natural stone pool terrace with the pool measuring 8m x 5m, access to which is shared with on-site owners. Your privacy will be observed at all times.
